charming stay

delicious lunch family bike
I had a good lunch in the esme tea room. my husband chose the agister forest board and raved about the scotch egg. He said it was amazing, i tried a bite! i also recommend the carrot cake, it was a nice treat after our family bike ride.
The room i stayed in felt a bit small. It wasn't a huge issue, but noticeable. also, the noise from the coffee shop in the mornings was a bit disruptive. i could hear staff talking quite clearly.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast service is located in the charming esme's tearoom. They presented all food in a beautiful manner. afternoon tea is also available, complete with amazing cakes and served in a spacious tea garden. this setup added a unique touch to the dining experience.
Facilities
9/10
the hotel features a cozy fireplace lobby that also functions as a sitting room. it is equipped with helpful information leaflets on a dresser, there is also the esme tea room on site. i found the staff to be very friendly and efficient .
Rooms
8/10
the room included a comfortable bed and good storage space. the windows offered pleasing airflow, particularly nice during warmer weather. my room had a bath, however it lacked a shower curtain, limiting it to baths only.
